Theresa’s Sound World 🎼Musical Links Series

🎼Theresa’s Sound World Musical Links

On my recent Eardrum Buzz Radio show, one of the musical acts I talked about was US Alternative Rock band, Steam Train Hearts.

Some of the bands and artists I think of when listening to Steam Train Hearts include, REM, Neil Young and Big Star. Steam Train Hearts put me in the mind of anything from the warm 60s Psychedelia of The Byrds to the 80s Alternative Rock of Husker Du. Steam Train Hearts are an offshoot of Indiepop band, The Silent Boys. Below are a series of links:

The first gets you to Steam Train Hearts Bandcamp page and their single, ‘Seed Change’.

The second link is to a live performance of Neil Young and REM, performing a live version of ‘Country Feedback’ from REM’s 1991 album, ‘Out of Time’.

The third link is to Husker Du’s version of ‘Eight Miles High’ by The Byrds.

The fourth link is to the classic tune, ‘Thirteen’ by Big Star’.

The fifth link gets you to the tune, ‘Tilt-A-Whirl’ by Steam Train Hearts’ JanglePop sister band, The Silent Boys.

Click on the sixth and final link to listen to Eardrum Buzz Radio and if you missed my show, it’s repeated at 8pm GMT/ 12pm PST weekdays during February.⭐️
