In this series, I link musical acts I review here on the Sound World or play on my Eardrum Buzz Radio show with other bands or artists.
On my recent radio show, one of the musical acts I talked about was Swiss/US duo, The churchhill garden who combine Shoegaze and Dreampop to create luscious musical soundscapes, with beautifully crafted ethereal vocals. I played the duo’s tune ‘Reality’ during my show.
Late last year, I also reviewed ‘Reality’ here on the Sound World. In my written review and on my radio show, I compared The Churchhill Garden with a few other musical acts. Two of these were Shoegaze/Dreampop bands Slowdive and Lush. The other band I mentioned, were Alternative Rock band, Unrest, who like Lush, were on the 4AD record label.
